Hello, I have a MB 2.0G with 2 Gigs of RAM, and I was wondering what the best way to set up the memory for XP for use with VS 2005 was? If I allocate 1 gig for XP, I guess that means that I have 1 Gig left for OSX, right? Thanks!

it really depends on how lean you got Windows XP installed and the size of your application running. I have a very lean XP OEM CD Install, and run fine with 512 mb for the VM. Leaner the the XP better off you are when coding for VS2005.

I personally think 512 is enough. That is how I am doing it, and I use VS 2005 too.

ok, if 512 is enough, then that's what I'm going with. As for the lean XP install, what kind of things are you eliminating? Cause honestly all I need to run is VS 2005. And thanks for the help!
