I was using the v3 trial, and when it expired, had no option but to buy V4 (with no option to review first). So, I will post a bunch of questions to see if I can get anywhere. Parallels 4 Explorer does nothing with Parallels running or not. I think it is suppose to display virtual machines and disks, but it displays nothing. the Windows XP VM does run ok. Please advise Bob
Parallels Explorer allows you to access your Virtual Machines' hard disk images - for example to extract files from them. Please refer to documentation for a comprehensive description - you can get the latest version of Parallels Explorer User Guide here: http://www.parallels.com/download/file/desktop/v4/docs/en/Parallels_Explorer_Users_Guide.pdf
I guess I was not clears, Parellels explorer does nothing...with the vm runnin or not. In the left column you have vm and virtual disks. When you highlite either, NOTHING appears in the right column. So, it is totally unusable to do anything. Am I doing something worng? bob
