I recently changed my 2007 MacBookPro to a new late 2008 MacBookPro. My Parallels v4.0 setup copied across OK, with one exception: -
I had previously used WinXP under Parallels v4.0 to connect to the Internet using a phone that did not have drivers for Mac. The phone no longer shows up on the new MacBookPro. It's as if the new MacBookPro doesn't recognise the phone and pass the connection onto Parallels.
    Any ideas where to look?

Check under Devices -USB while in Parallels

The device is not listed. That's why I asked if anyone else was having issues with the new MacBook Pro. Or is it just Parallels v4.0?

It's not listed there. That's the problem.

From Terminal, it is detected in the 2007MacBookPro, but not in the late 2008MacBookPro.
I wonder if that's a common issue? What's the best way to progress this with Apple?
