I installed a printer using your instructions on your users guide. For a couple of days it worked ok, now I always get the following error:

    can't create PDFDocumentRef for `/private/var/spool/cups/tmp/496bc03a6140e'

    then:

    Operation Could not be completed.
    client-error-not-possible

In OSX I can print ok. I have two VM's, xp and vista and the problem is on both VM's

    How can I fix this??

Try to restart mac OS, and repair permissions from Disk Utility

Hi, I restarted the computer and fixed permissions and I still have the problem. I have 2 VM, one XP (in users/shared) and one Vista (in users/home). With Xp I can print fine, the problem is with the Vista VM. Also the print jobs stay on the printer spooler in Leopard. I'll attach the print spooler so you can see it.

    Thanks for your help

Hi john, this is not my problem, as I am not printing PDF's. I am trying to print from excel and from access. Not PDF.
Also my problem is not because of the printer's driver, because I can print perfectly from my XP VM. Any other ideas??

    What printer configuration you set?
Please check in VM - Configuration - Parallel Port
