I'm using Parallels Desktop 3 and I have two virtual machine images. I recently started using the Spaces feature of Leopard and set up Parallels to open in Spaces 4. However, because I have two machine images, when I open Parallels it prompts for me to select which image. However, this "Select A Virtual Machine" dialog ALWAYS appears in Spaces 1. After some jumping back and forth between spaces (and uncovering the "Select A Virtual Machine" dialog behind windows in the Spaces 1, I am able to work properly. I wonder if this is a issue in Parallels Desktop 4?

    Thanks, Bill

Did you set Parallels Desktop Applications bind to Space 4?

Yes, I have Parallels in Space 4. I've found that if I switch to Space 4 before running Parallels that the "Select a Virtual Machine" dialog will be displayed in that space. However, in most cases, I'll want to just open Parallels and have it switch to Space 4 if not in that space. However, when this automatic switch occurs the "Select a Virtual Machine" dialog opens in the space I was in when I opened Parallels from the dock.

Basically this extra dialog that only appears when you open Parallels and have two or more virtual machines is NOT being displayed properly in the same space assigned to the Parallels application.

    Thank you, bbryson

This issue was reported and is already fixed in Parallels Desktop version 4.
