Screen Resolutions

    I have Win98 on parallels on my MacBook. The laptop has only 512MB RAM. I am unable to change resolutions in Windows from 256 colors at 640x480 to anything else, even though I created a few custom resolutions, they are not seen. This is not covered in the docs or the FAQ. What is the relationship between video in the guest OS and RAM on the host if any?

    Be sure to install the Parallels Tools or you will not be able to change resolutions.

    Thank you, that was my problem. I guess I didn't read the manual as well as I thought! How could I miss that? Tahnks.
