Hello I did installed Solaris 10 1/06. I can't seem to set the xorg.conf to run in 1680x1050 mode under Parallels GA. Did any of you were able to run it? I always run in 1024x768 more. I did run the xorgconf, specifying the vesa driver and Horizontal and Vertical timings and well the default resolutions (1680x1050 was not in the default list). I did added it after xorgconf was done manually for all three color modes, My default mode is 24. But I tried with 16 and no go. If you got it working could you please send me private message with your copy of xorg.conf or attach it here.

"1680x1050 in beta5 + xorg" http://forums.parallels.com/thread1142.html Based on the information from these threads, I was able to config my MBP-17 to display at 1650x1050. Worked on both Solaris 10 1/06 and 1/06. **Importantly, during the installation, you must answer YES when prompted to look at the card database and the choose "0 --> Generic Vesa compatible option" - see first thread for more info.
