Hello I did installed Solaris 10 1/06. I can't seem to set the xorg.conf to run in 1680x1050 mode under Parallels GA. Did any of you were able to run it? I always run in 1024x768 more. I did run the xorgconf, specifying the vesa driver and Horizontal and Vertical timings and well the default resolutions (1680x1050 was not in the default list). I did added it after xorgconf was done manually for all three color modes, My default mode is 24. But I tried with 16 and no go.

If you got it working could you please send me private message with your copy of xorg.conf or attach it here.

    Check out other forum threads:

Based on the information from these threads, I was able to config my MBP-17 to display at 1650x1050. Worked on both Solaris 10 1/06 and 1/06.

**Importantly, during the installation, you must answer YES when prompted to look at the card database and the choose "0 --> Generic Vesa compatible option" - see first thread for more info.
