iPod Video 60gb is unable to work within Parallels!!

    It freezes all related programs, including iPod Updater, iTune, My Computer, ... etc.

    Thanks for advise :)

    Can you see 'iPod' in the USB menu of Parallels? I only see "Apple Composite".

    1. Power On with iPod connection
    2. Disconnect iPod
    3. Turn on Parallels Desktop and start Windows XP
    4. login Windows XP and connect 'Apple composte'
    5. Open "My Computer" --> a removable disc appears, but it is not workable

    You will need to unplug and replug your ipod after you have started Parallels.

    But, it cannot unplug normally from WInXP of Parallels. Do you mean disconnect 'Apple Composite' and re-connect it by Parallels?

    I meant physically unplugging and replugging the USB cable.
    I don't have an iPod myself so I am not actually saying this would work. However, some people have been able to get other USB devices working by doing this sequence.
