In windows under Parallels, to use "delete" as "delete" you have to press "fn+delete" on the mac.

Which is needed to sent "ctrl-alt-del" to the windows via keystroke...

But how do you do this if you are using an external keyboard that does not have an fn key? Can you set Parallels to recognize another key for a fn substitute?

    Thanks,

The fn key is a byproduct of using Apple's keyboard. If you're using an external keyboard, you don't need to use the fn key -- it is assumed that you already have a key dedicated for Del.

Well I'll be. That is entirely correct...
