Anyone have the same problem or figure out a solution? Have Macbook pro with latest Paralles (XP pro)...USB autoconnect off, Mac OS recognizes the drive, I disconnect within Mac OS, connect within parallels, XP sees it, no errors in device manager, but cant see the drives anywhere. Suggestions?

If the drive doesn't appear in My Computer, it may be because it is mac format, rather than Fat 32 or NTFS

Thanks for the reply. The drive has 2 partitions....one is NTFS, the other is FAT. They were formatted with my previous PC (I am a recent Mac convert) so they *should* be recognized by XP. Still not sure what's going on.

    Using the SharePoints App.

Parallels Desktop for Mac couldn't recognise USB port or firewire port properly. Hopelly, next version will be fixed that kind of problem.

Currently, I'm using SharePoints application for my external hard drive by firewire port.
Nothing problem at all with Parllels. Now I can see my external hard drive on Windows XP. The network speed is quite good too. Why not try using SharePoints, it's freeware.

Mount the drives in OS X and share them out so XP can mount them. End of problem, no?
