    Hi,

My external drive is formated in a mac file system.

I can't access the files when I run xp through Paralles.

Is there a way i can transfer the files to win xp???

Is there a way to files share?

As far as I know, OSX's HFS file format is not understood by XP. The only way I think you could get round this is to copy the necessary files to a disc/partition/flash drive formatted in FAT32 (read & writable by both XP & OSX).

    Cheers,

Maybe its just me but is this not what folder sharing is all about?

yes you are right Robster. My external drive is mac formatted and Parallels can see it as a shared folder just fine. For the same reason, Windows can access mac drives over a network, regardless of format.
Sseligson, you need to install parallels tools, and then in the configuration editor of your VM, you can select any folders you wish to share with Windows, just select your external drive and windows will be able to see it.

Warning ... file corruption may happen

Sorry, that won't work. Shared folders is totally unreliable.
