Now that apple was nice enough to lower the price a little, I figured I could justify the expense (1k) to help my OLD eyes. I forgot that I can have the external monitor EXTEND the desktop so when I do the following: 1). Use Pref / Display to make sure the screens are NEXT to each other 2). Run your guest O/S and move it to the EXTERNAL Monitor 3). Press ALT - ENTER to switch to full screen and you get: A). Guest O/S FULL Screen 1900 x 1000 (I have 15" MBP driving this) B). Laptop screen is OSX with Parallels in Dock only so I have full screen Now moving my mouse I can move between High res windows screen I require for programming and OS/X where I live / email / surf. I LOVE IT.
Wow, that gives me all kinds of ideas. Now that the Mac Pro has been released, you can have two monitors, one running OS X natively and the other running XP in Parallels fullscreen. Very nice, thank you for the tip!
