With both the retail and beta 1862 version of the Desktop version for OS X, when I try to install the Parallels Tools, I get the following error info. Note I'm trying the complete install and the guest OS is Windows XP Pro SP1. Feature Transfer error Feature: Parallels Video Driver Component: Video driver for Win2000 File: C:\Program Files\Parallels\Parallels Tools\Video\ Error: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect At the error, the installation is incomplete and stops. My option is to "cancel parallels tools installation". Has anyone else encountered, and hopefully gotten past this error?
Did you move Parallels from it's default install location? Just a guess since if refers to not finding a file.
No changes to install location. The main thing I wanted out of the Tools was the ability to share files with OS X.
