OK. I am going crazy trying to figure out why my iSight on my MacBook is not working.

I have the latest Parallels Beta and I was wondering if it is intefering with the USB drivers that drive iSight. Can anyone tell me if they can launch PhotoBooth and get iSight working with Parallels Beta installed but not launched.

I would appreciate it. If so, I'll have to take my MacBook in for repair. I have tried everything else - reset PMU, reset NVRAM, install 10.4.7 combo update, etc.

Just an FYI. The 10.4.7 combo update is for PowerPC platforms. There is a separate 10.4.7 for Intel Macs.

    Cheers

I have a macbook with the parallels beta on and photo booth works fine. Try Ichat and see if you can get the video to work.
One other thing - there seems to be a isight update in the bootcamp update that has caused some poeople problems

Did you figure this out? I'm having the same problem with my Macbook. No Isight since I installed parallels.
