I've installed and run the latest Beta build (1862) for Parallels Mac and have noticed a problem related to sound. One of the things I run Parallels for is watching my Slingbox. I run SlingPlayer inside parallels as SlingMedia has yet to release a Mac client. The latest Parallels beta has a problem in that when using SlingPlayer, the audio and video are out of synch. They are out of synch enough for you to notice it very readily. It's quite annoying. I have confirmed that it is not the SlingPlayer software. It is Parallels that is causing the problem. If I revert back to the current production release of Parallels the audio and video sync are fine - no problems. I am running a MacBook Pro at 1.83 GHz with 1 Gig of RAM. Thanks, Jon
Lipsync is broken on new Beta Maybe this is same problem. When I watch movies on Windows Media Player, sync of voice and picture is completely broken. There was no prolem on the last release version. I guess this is a bad side-effect of graphics performance improvement done on the new Beta build. I'm using WinXP on my MacBookPro 2.0GHz 2GB mem (512M for parallels).
The movie sound sync problem has been solved in new RC I installed new RC(build 1884) update. And I found the problem noticed above has been solved. Nice!
