skybound USB Card Reader One of the few programs I still need my old PC for is the Skybound service to update my Garmin 430 data card. To date I have been unable to use it with Windows XP installed in Parallels. I, too, would be interested in hearing if anyone has been successful in connecting this device. Jeff
No that won't work in Parallels nor on VPC. I think the linear flash card (used in my GX-50 GPS) and hardware interface needs to have direct access to PC drivers. On the other hand, I've had success using JSUM under Parallels/XP to load data onto compactflash cards for the MX-20.
I had the same problem and then I downloaded Jeppesen Services Update Manager and this works fine under Parallels. Even better, I think the UI is much better
