If I start a Windows session on my mac laptop and then leave the machine alone for (not too long) and come back to it later, it's supposed to just be sleeping. Indeed the little light is on the front of the mac indicating this. However, when I then press the spacebar to wake up the Mac, it completely reboots the machine. This has happened several times now.

This does not happen if Parallels is not running.

I had a similar issue last night. I installed XP Pro on my Macbook Pro. I powered down the VM and shut the lid on my Macbook to suspend it.

This morning I opened the lid and clicked the power on button in Parallels and the machine rebooted on me.

I had this hapen with Beta 1 and two, and the very first time I used Beta3, but it seems to be OK now.

Did you reboot after installation of Beta3 and going to sleep? If not it is possible that some old drivers (from Beta2) wasn't successfully unloaded...
