I have an "expanding" virtual hdd running under WinXP which is 10,240 MB large. After compressing with Image Tool it is now 6.81GB on the Mac drive. Windows says it is 7.79GB in size (I had it 8,000MB before and expanded it to 10,240 later) with only approx. 6,04MB free which, of course, always causes this annoying system warning "insufficient disk space"... Is there any way to get rid of this and tell Windows that there is more disk space available?
I had this problem and it is to do with large files that get left on the c: drive of the virtuall machine do a search for it on these fourums.
