I just installed Longhorn Server RC1 on a VM, running Parallels 1898. The installation went without a hitch at all, and was surprisingly fast! However, the issue I have is that it seems like the tools won't install properly. I'm not getting any errors from the installation, but after installing the only thing that works (of the tools) is the network. Mouse, video etc seems not to have been installed properly. I know that Longhorn is probably supported even less than Vista, but I thought I'd ask anyway. So, does anyone have any ideas??? Niels
Running the exe diorectly (after having attached to the iso file), did not work. What did work however was to from within Longhorn go to Device Manager and update the individual drivers. It worked for mouse and video. I am still without sound and Parallels folders, but I don't use them anyway. Thanks for the tip!! Niels
