While OS X and the VM running Vista are idle, CPU utilization is at 44% on one CPU and 80+% on the other CPU. Activity Monitor shows the CPU being used by the Parallels program. By contrast, the CPU utilization drops bellow 8% with a VM running Windows XP under the same conditions.
