Can anyone advise whether there are any issues with Parallels and Term Serve?

My employer offers the ability to log into the work network from home, via Term Serve. Now all of the current users are PC owners so I wondered whether I could do the same using Parallels.

At the moment I'm using a Home version of XP on my MacBook so this would obviously be upgraded to Pro.

Am I right in thinking this shouldn't be a problem?

    Many thanks,

    Jason

Why not use the mac application "Remote Desktop Connection". Download it from www.microsoft.com/mac

That way you dont need a vm at all. I use it all the time for accessing clients servers direct from OS X :)

I use Terminal Services from a Parallels guest OS with no problem.

I don't believe the Microsoft provided Mac client is a universal binary.

I prefer using an Open Source Java RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol used by Terminal Services and XP) client, http://properjavardp.sourceforge.net/ This is based on the open source linux client at www.rdesktop.org.
