    Hi,

I'm running 2.2. Since I've upgraded I can't start a virtual machine (new or existing) as a regular user. Parallels starts, but when I hit the "play" button, the screen inside parallels goes gray. This does not happen when I am root.

Any ideas? Are there permissions that need to be set? I don't remember doing anything like that in 2.1.

    Thanks,
    Cam

As far as I am aware, Parallels must be run as the root user.

    Cam,

It's a bit contrary to good security, but others have let the cat out of the bag. The .hdd and .pvs files need to have their ownership changed from root, to the ordinary user you wish to use.
