I upgraded to the 1970 build and when I started parallels up OSX crashed on my iMac. I rebooted the iMac and when it restarted I ran parallels again, this time it said my Tools version was incompatible with the version of parallels and to reinstall tools from the VM menu. When I went to do that I got an error saying installer would terminate because it could not determine the software version.
    Any help would be appreciated.:(

To add to this, yesterday I saw an original MS blue screen passing by in a flash of a second when my Parallesl crashed Windows while starting WS_FTP. After Windows (read Parallels machine) was restarted, I clicked WS_FTP again and the whole MacBook Pro reboot spontaneously within a millisecond.

    I was stunned.
