Have you setup your Parallels first? Like giving your Windows HD an actual size? Also, have you looked in your user folder/Library/Parallels/winxp for the two files that ends with .hdd and .pvs?
iv got parallels setup right i think, iv got the two files that end with .hdd and .pvs. I guess i should be a bit clearer about what is going on. I start parallels, load up, click the play button, It then says boot from hdd...failed boot from cd...ok next screen> i can never read it coz it goes to fast next screen> "txtsetup.sif missing or corupted" and thats its i cant get any futher, and i dont know what to do or try
Okay, then try trashing your winxp.hdd file. Then you're going have to setup everything on Parallels once again unfortunately. Then install your XP CD. I think that your .hdd file got corrupt somehow. That .hdd file is your Windows HD. I don't really know what that the .pvs file is.
Then try trashing everything. Then install Parallels and your XP CD from scratch. What build do you have? The current build is 1970. I know, I just need Parallels for a few programs too, especially for my serial speakerphone modem and HotFax 6. I just LOVE OS X! Unfortunately, in reality Windows just does run a lot more programs. That's why Parallels exists in the first place.
