I had similar problems getting shared networking to function....but followed the various threads (re-boot mac to get en3 discoverd, turning-off internet sharing on Mac (was enabled for hosted-only networking), and finally simply changing the IP address range for hosted-only and shared networking DHCP tab to get the 2 virtual adapters (en2 & en3) to grab an IP address (btw - once they started to work, I changed the ranges back to default p and they are still working))

My only problem now is that I cannot establish a VPN conection to my corp network when using shared networking?? (Nortel Contivity VPN client with RSA SecureID card).

The VPN client works flawlessly in bridged or host-only networking mode??

    Any ideas?

It appears that Parallels NAT under shared Networking is not permitting IPSec pass-thru?? Is there anywhere in the Parallels to configure NAT settings for Shared Networking??
