    I've tried everything!
No matter what i do i get the same message, "no boot device available, press enter to continue"
I am using the same disk i used to install windows with boot camp, so i assume its bootable.
I made an ISO image in disk utility and with parallels image creator, but nothing works.
Please help! I need windows to do my work!

Under the Parallels console "Resources", what is the settings for the CD/DVD-ROM?

I assume that you already have the .hdd file, just make sure that the setup for the harddisk is pointing to boot from IDE 0:0

The trick is to create a .iso image (not .dmg) of a Windows XP bootable CD (I used a retail copy of Win XP SP2) using the Disk Utility app and set Parallels to boot off of the .iso image. I was having the same issue and tried this and it worked perfectly. Good luck. :)
