The recent security update 007 appears to have the license to kill: "shared networking" of Parallels (build1970) does not work any more. Tested both with Kubuntu 6.10 and windows XP.
The older "bridged ethernet" function is still fine.

    Or is it only me?

Don't know if it's only you, but the security update that I installed yesterday morning has had no adverse affects that I can see.

The security update had no effect on Shared Networking on my system. XP connects to the internet the same as it did before the update.

I also have had no problems with Parallels after the 007 Security Update. Perhaps it will die another day...

It did not adversely affect my Windows XP Pro installation.

i'm having the same problem as Frank-O here. Shared networking is dead for me. I didn't think to try it until i saw his post. yesterday it was working fine, and i grabbed the new apple update later in the day, and now that i've just checked, it is in fact broken for me as well.
