PPTP VPN and Shared Networking not working

I've updated to Parallels Build 1966 and I was intrigued by the Connection Sharing feature because I switch between wired, wireless, bluetooth and USB modem connections.

I have a PPTP VPN client which requires port forwarding of TCP Port 1723 and IP Protocol forwarding of Protocol 47 (General Routing Encapsulation).

This PPTP Client works fine with Bridged and Host-only networking and OS X Internet Connection sharing, it does not work with Parallels Connection Sharing.

Clarification: This PPTP client operates in a Windows XP guest VM. There is a Mac PPTP client but it is not reliable over a wireless connection (does not reconnect).

Does anyone have any fix suggestions?

Sorry, I'm not allowed to disclose that due to the Company security policy. I can say it's not Microsoft nor Cisco.
