    Does Parallels Desktop (build 1970) support Linux x86-64 versions? future versions?

    No, it does not.

    Parallels has stated that version 3.0 (due out early next year) will support 64-bit virtual machines.
    (Note that the beta currently available is for version 2.5 and also does not support 64-bit VMs.)
