coherence mode is really awsome, my cinema display 23" too.
32 bit color quality is nice - but not available on 1900x1200.

    1900x1200 (pixel) * 32 (color bits) / 8 (byte) / 1024 (kbytes) / 1024 (mbytes)
= 8.70 MB... but just 8MB VRAM are available...

would it be possible to have a preference to set the Video RAM?
or would it be possible to update it to 16MB? or 12... ooooor.... okay I'm happy with 10 too...

what machine and how much RAM?

I have millions of colours on both displays in Mac OS

powerbook Pro and 23 inch cinemea

my parallels is set to 1440 x 852 before rotating 32bit colour video driver

i see what you mean it drops to 24 bit colour after rotating

I can hardly see any difference for every day use

    I started with B7W 9 inch mac
then 256 colours or greys on a 19 inch screeen

    so all this seems miraculous

Good idea - we will think about it.

I wonder if the small issues I see when switching to Coherence on my 23" (1920x1200) are linked to that. On a 20" (1680x1050), it works without any color or resolution issue.

    thank you very much.

probably you have, because your display has the same resulution as mine.
set you color depth to 24 bit, und you will get the full resolution on your 23" display.
if you do not, the screen is going to interpolate (zoom up) 1920x1080 (<- the maximal resulution of parallels video adapter by 32bit) to 1920x1200... you will notice that in an unsharp display of the startbar and windows...

Well, I will set the color depth to 24 bits if that work-around the issue for now, but I really would need 32 bits back because I routinely have to check that some 32 bits depth icons are displaying ok. And with the screen itself set to 24, that doesn't do it well. ;-)
I am confident Parallels will take care of this for us all in a next build.

    Support 30" Cinema Display

I too would like to chime in on seeing better than 8MB VRAM support. I have a 30" Cinema Display and would strongly desire the ability to go full screen in 32 or 24 bit color. 8bit color is a huge bummer.

Awesome product. Keep up the good work.
