Dear All I have two Mac Book Pro's and have tried installing Parallels beta 3036 on both of them: - MacBook Pro Core Duo (2.13GHz, 2Gb RAM) This works perfectly MacBook Pro Core2 Duo (2.33GHz, 3Gb RAM) After intstalling Parallels tools for Bootcamp and rebooting, the HAL installed does not support the keyboard. This can be solved by using a USB keyboard. More worryingly, when selecting the Parallels option, there is an error what HAL.DLL cannot be found. Does anyone (Andrew) know if this problem has been seen elsewhere please? Many thanks JB
If I'm not mistaken; if you want to BOOT into windows, you need to select the first option when prompted ("Windoes XP Pro SP2" for example) and not "Parallels Configuration"; Same goes for the profile (In my case, it's profile 1) If I do choose the Parallels Config and profile, I get the Hal.dll error In fact, those options are to be selected from within parallels Hope this help
