When I mount a cd in Solaris 10 to /cdrom/cdrom0 I don't see the cd contents. The folder contains autorun.inf, ptstart.exe, prltools.exe, etc. I was wondering what I need to do to get to the cdrom.

That sounds like the parallels tools iso. Have you tried ejecting the CD from Solaris?

From with the VM settings, set the CD device to be the real CD. From within Solaris, you may still see the Tools image, enter ' eject cdrom'. It should eject the Tools image, and replace it with the real CD.
