This may be a dumb question, but how do I start XP in Safe Mode. You are supposed to hold down F8 as Windows is starting, but this does not seem to work in Parallels. Thanks.
You didn't mention what type of Mac you're using. If you're using a notebook, you'll need to hold down the "fn" key (lower left) before hitting F8. Also, click in the VM window before you type anything to make sure the keystrokes go to the VM. (The automatic capture, i.e., mouse synchronization, won't work until Windows loads the Parallels drivers which happens well after the point when you would type F8 to get to safe mode.)
