    Hi all,

I'm a very happy Parallels user -- would really like it if I could create a clean image of Mac OS X and run it within Parallels.

    Is this possible?

And just to answer it again. No. Don't even try.

    Really? Why not?

I'd think it'd be the easiest VM to run on a Macbook...

Apple won't allow it, so Parallels won't. OSX has to run directly on the hardware, because Apple designed it that way. Several critical parts of the system are encrypted and won't decrypt unless it's running in bare hardware. Give it up.
