1) Installed Parallels Desktop 2) Created VM 3) Followed steps to "Installing Windows XP" found in the QUICK START GUIDE 4) Inserted Windows XP disc into drive 5) When I press "Power On" the screen goes black and my machine must be restarted. I've tried the following: Uninstalled and reinstalled Parallels Deleted VM and recreated VM All other software I've loaded onto my Mac works fine. I am running a Mac based Intel...I've had it for 3 days... running Mac OS X version 10.4.8 running Parallels 1848.2 Thanks for any help you can provide!!!!
Update to the latest build (1970) of Parallels. Launch Parallels and check for updates (in the Help menu).
