I would dearly love to give Parallels my $50 once the software is released, however, I can't install XP. I have a MacBook Pro, 2.0 Ghz, 2 GB ram.

If get the dreaded "No boot device available ...." message

I have attached some screen shots of the current configuration below. I have done EVERYTHING, including:

    - Inserting the Win XP CD prior to starting PW.
    - Inserting the Win XP CD after starting PW.
    - Rebooting and retrying
    - Reinstall PW, Reboot, and Retry all the above options
    - Changing the boot sequence
    - Booting from an ISO
    - Changing the "Connect to" parameters in the CD/DVD-ROM options
    - Standing on one leg while launching PW
    - and every possible combination and permutation of nearly every PW setting -- nothing

I would love to help Parallel get this working -- Because I need to use it.

    HELP!

    my success booting

I relate my success booting from CDs in this thread:

    http://forum.parallels.com/thread73-4.html

The key is the IDE device -- I had to set it to 0:1

Your mileage may vary -- mine did -- even this didn't work for me every time. Weird!
