I'm using parallel desktop 4.0 (the newest version),
my mac is using intel 8169 ethernet,
the connections in both side seems to be okay if i use shared networking,
but whenever i changed to bridged networking,
my main connection will drop, reload the kext didn't help unless i reboot.
i have tried to use USB wireless adapter (D-link DWA 140),
    everything works fine.

i'm using router, and i need the port forwarded to my guest OS,
hmm, will the shared networking do the same thing?
or i still need the bridged networking?

please someone cast me some light.!!

    thank you.

Use port forwarding in Parallels Desktop -Preferences - Network

    Hi,
Most likely the connectioin in Bridged networking is dropped due to MAC-address conflict with you Mac OS X Host. You can send a problem report using Help->Report a Problem and post here its number. We will check whether it is the issue.

It is possble to forward port to the VM in Shared Networking mode. To do so (assuming you are running Windows), type in your VM in the cmd.exe command "ipconfig" without quotes and write-down somewhere the VMs IP-address. it should be like 10.211.55.3. Then, as John suggested, go to the "Parallels Desktop"->Preferences"->Network and configure port forwarding from the desired port to the VM's IP-address.
