    Parallels Uninstaller is NOT working.
I have emailed tech support 3 times over the past week and a half with no reply...

When I run the Uninstaller the pop up window reads:
"You do not have Parallels Desktop installed on your computer"

but Parallels is installed on my Mac and located in my applications folder.

I have launched the Parallels Desktop Uninstaller from the Installation CD,
from the .dmg package downloaded from Parallels web site,
and I have my original copy of Parallels Desktop Uninstall on my computer as well.
All 3 of the Unistallers have the same outcome, none of them work,
and all respond with the message:

"You do not have Parallels Desktop installed on your computer"

Do I have to manually Uninstall Parallels? Is that possible?
Is there another way to get the Uninstaller to work?

Thank you for any help you can provide!

    Christopher

    Hi Christopher,

In order to uninstall any application or software you need to be the Administrator.

If you are the Administrator then try running disk permission. To run disk permission Follow the below mentioned steps.

    1. Open Finder -> Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Utility.
    2. Select Macintosh HD on the left panel and click Repair Disk permissions.

Then try to unistall the Parallels Desktop.

    This should work.

I have done this three times, unfortunately with no effect.
    It does not work.

    Any other suggestions?
