Parallels Workstation Extreme

Hello, Parallels.

I saw press release for PWE(Parallels Workstation Extreme), today. And I'd like to purchase it.

BTW...
Is PWE only OEM sale? Or, is the ESD version sold like Parallels Desktop?

Good to see you're interested in the new product. There's a FAQ here that sort of answers your question, as well as others you may have. Basically, right now the only hardware which is certified to use the technology is in the new HP Z800 Workstation.

Here's a snippet:
Certification of each OEM workstation platform is required by both Parallels and NVIDIA for support. Given the groundbreaking capability of Parallels Workstation Extreme, it is expected that OEMs will want to pursue such certification in the near future.

In short, it's a wait and see situation for customers over the next 6 weeks. It's ready to use, but being such a new technology, it will need a little time before it's widely available.
