I can't seem to figure out how to get Fedora 10 (RedHat) to install when using Parallels 4 on my Intel Imac 20". I had no problem with doing the install of Open Suse 11.1, but it appears that the iso image that I created using a DVD+R writer has the kernel inside of a subdirectory on the DVD. Can anyone suggest how to proceed to install Fedora 10 under Parallels? Thanks, Bob
Fedora 10 -- try without burning. I got Fedora 10 to install just fine. But I didn't burn a CD.. I just attached the ISO image directly to the VM. A word of warning: I had problems with Parallels Tools. If you decide you want to install them BACKUP your new Fedora 10 VM image first, and revert back to it if you have problems like I did. Fedora 10 works pretty well without Parallels Tools with the exception of sound. Good luck.
Yes. I will get a choppy startup sound then nothing... I've noticed the sound icon is intermittently flashing red... Using the latest MacPro desktop... Waiting for Fedora 11... that should be fun...
