Urgent! Audio from my XP VM on a MB Pro

Is audio supported at all? I keep reading about improvements, while in my XP VM I can't find any audio devices whatsoever. Sorry to make this urgent but I am trying to watch a WM webcast not supported by WM Player in OS X....I can see it perfectly on my VM, but I can't hear a thing :)

Any idea why my XP doesn't have a sound device? Is it because I installed using the very first beta? I am currently using beta 4.

david: yes, that's why. Shut down your VM, and click "Edit". Add a new device; make it a sound device, and accept the defaults.

Audio works for me on my MacBook Pro, but there does seem to be a small delay. Watching stuff from pokertvnetwork.com the audio is out of sync.

For people that seem to be having a problem with sound in XP...

The pb seems to stem from when XP is installed in an older version of Parallels that didn't support sound. Basically XP searched for a sound device, didn't find one then proceeded to disable the Windows Audio service.

When I enabled sound on beta4 the sound didn't work until I started that service and then put in on Automatic startup mode.

All works fine. Just thought I'd share that nugget.
