Hello All, I have just updated from windows XP to Windows Vista Home Edition. On XP I haven't had any trouble really and the intergration between Parallels and my Mac is great however after upgrading to Vista I can't run it in coherence mode. It keeps telling me to 'install Parallel Tools' again but I have done this about 4 times figuring I was missing something and it is still not working. It seems to be doing other flakey things like : When I try to change the time it takes for the screen saver to come on in vista (set to a default 1min) to a higher amount..I have tried al variety between 5 and 120mins, it doesn't hold it when I exit the control panel. I have to restart for it to take effect.. I run Metastock v10.1 on it and every time I open that program it says that it is not a native program and do I want to open it..I don't seem to be able to turn that off either. I am aware that I am not really great with the windows stuff and get buy with the bare essentials but I would really like to use the new operating system that I bought... Thanks in advance for any help.
Tough one. If you upgraded the OS (XP) to Vista, that could be the issue. You could potentially create a new Vista VM and start the install from scratch to see if it works fine (I did try Vista and it worked just fine in Coherence). If I had to guess I would be on the upgrade route as the issue. CR
