I have upgraded to Parallels 4.0 on my Tiger based iMac but it seems quite slow. Would I be better going back to V.3.0?

    Hello,

The issue can have different reasons.
At first try to reinstall Parallels Tools as described in this knowledge base article:

    http://kb.parallels.com/en/4841

In case it does not help, please post here how much RAM is there total on Macintosh and how much RAM is allocated for Virtual Machine (you can find it in Mac Menu top bar --> Virtual Machine --> Configure - then configuration editor window will show up, navigate to "memory" in left panel and see amount of RAM allocated in the right part of the window)
