I have Microsoft Office 2007 installed in my Windows XP Parallels VM. I haven't really had any problems until this evening. I'm not sure whether the issue lies with XP, Office, or a Parallels keyboard issue. The first issue was that when I typed the letter "u" in an XP help and support window, "Utility Manager" would launch and begin speaking text. This continued to happen until I restarted XP & Parallels. Now, when working in Excel, I'm getting odd cursor focus shifting. I'll be typing in a cell and odd things start opening and popping up. Typing a "b" shifted the cursor focus from the cell to the document in the taskbar. Typing an "e" opened up a "My Computer" window. Typing a "d" takes me to the Desktop Typing a "f" opens up a search window. These are just the things happening by doing a quick trial and error through the first few letters of the alphabet. Has something inadvertently been turned on that's causing keyboard shortcuts to launch unexpected items? Please help. It's going to be hard to finish this project if I can't even type in a cell without it doing something different. --Running Parallels 4.0.3810 on a Macbook with 10.5.6 installed.
