When I press and release the Mac Command key, I would like for the consequent behavior to be ... NOTHING! My muscle memory considers it to be a modifier key, not a key in its own right. And I can't convince my muscle memory otherwise. Therefore I am constantly triggering the blasted Start menu in Windows.

I went to Parallels Preferences > Keyboard&Mouse and de-selected Cmd. There was no change. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding something here?

    Thanks,
    Chap

    Chap Harrison,

Check the "Enable Mac OS X system shortcuts" box in Parallels Desktop -> Preferences... -> Keyboard and Mouse menu. This should fix it.

Same problem here. Wow! So annoying! I don't have a Cmd/Ctrl key at all, only get the Start Menu no matter what I do in keyboard preferences. What can I do??
