I have been using Parallels 3 (Build 5582) for some time with virtually no problems. I have noted the many problems persons have had with Parallels 4. I'm not inclined to make a switch to 4 given how well 3 works for me but I'm don't know the benefits of 4 over 3. Could someone summarize the 3 or 4 (no pun) top benefits of 4 over 3 so I can evaluate the situation? Thanks for any comments. James

Hi! James, I would suggest you stay the PD3 (latest is Build 56xx, please check with update from within PD3). I have PD4 still having many problems (hung, high CPU usage...) in my MacBook. I Keep PD3 installed in my wife's MacBook for comparison. All I can say is PD4 is better in terms of stability and performance. I am still waiting if Parallels to release an improved version of PD4 to upgrade the PD3 on my wife's MacBook which she needs it for daily operation! Good Luck!
I didn't see much of interest in the comparison that Bopanna referenced. One thing I would be interested in but am not sure if P4 has it... In P3, when I print on the Mac side, the printers work automatically. But when in Windows, I have to select the desired printer from the USB port settings. Does P4 make the selection automatically on both sides (Mac and Windows) without the need to select from the USB ports? Thanks for any comments. James
