    Hello,

When I start Parallels the temperature quickly spikes to ~150F which in turn causes the fan to spin up to ~6200 rpm. Once the fan has spun up, the temperature cools to ~130F as one would expect, however, the fan stays a consistent ~6200 rpm. I also note a fair amount of latency within the VM. Note that CPU and memory appear fine, I assuming that this could be something with video?

Of course, when I shut parallels down the fan eventually winds down to a more tolerable rpm.

I read a couple of posts to install build 5604 which is what I am currently running. This, anecdotally, appears to have helped somewhat but is still pretty painful

I have a MBA with 1.6GHZ/80GB running 10.5.3. As mentioned, the Parallels build is 5604 and I am running MSFT XP sp3 within the VM.

Has anybody else experienced? If so, are there any fixes. Many thanks.
