Not sure if this is how to report this, but...

    I'm running a MBP 2.0 w/ 2Gb RAM. OS X 10.4.6.

I have an external monitor that is set as my primary display.

The bug: Whenever I click anything in the window, I lose "capture" (I'm back in OS X, not parallels).

When I click in the window, the mouse is once again captured until I click again. When running on the Primary display (the external) it works as it should, no problems.

Very repeatable. Apologies if this is a duplicate.

do you have the Parallels Tools installed? I can't lend a hand b/c i don't have dual display but that's what came to mind first.

    No.

I had installed it in a previous installation of Parallels, but not now.

Can't seem to mount the floppy drive (man, does that beg innuendo).

I'll let you know if I get the floppy drive working.

Installing parallels tools fixed that exact issue for me.

This is a known bug. See this thread.

Very frustrating for those of us that use guest OS's other than Windows (and can't install the "tools").

Intalling the Parallels tools did the trick. It works very well now. Thanks for the tip!
