Hello! I'm using Parallels desktop on MACBook Prot about 6 months. So, today, when I was trying to run Parallels Desktop the system informed me, that Parallels Desktop couldn't be run, because of file winxp.hdd is used by another application. I checked all processes in Activit Monitor, but no one doesn't block this file. Please, help me! I'm really need WinXP Pro on Mac.
Unable to connect to hard disc After checking various postings a technician named John appeared to offer a solution which got me further. However I'm now totally stumped by access denied message. I've changed permissions as suggested - am still getting access denied. The forums are alive with this error. It seems to have happened after installing 10.5.7 Mac OS X update. Not sure whether any other software is conflicting to generate this error. I've also tried uninstalling and re-installing. I'm still getting this error. Now from being very happy with Parallels I'm very annoyed that I can't get Parallels to run at all. Mike
