I have an imac core duo and am trying to install xp pro with parallels. I have a created a virtual hard drive and am using a windows xp pro oem full version cd. When the windows installer starts it stops almost immediately with an error code of 512 and sometimes 7 and then restarts. Does anyone know why this should be, the disk is ok as it installed under bootcamp fine.
